THANK YOU HOME DEPOT!!!!!!!!!!

Home Depot has agreed to actually GIVE us the 5500 cfl bulbs we will need to give every child in North Babylon one of them. This will save the people of NB over $500,000 in electric costs, and most importantly help fight global warming!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks again to George and Felix at the Deer Park Home Depot, who made our dream a reality in NB!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah Home Depot is great for buying CFLs. I bought about 100 just before Christmas and gave them out as stocking stuffers. Using CFLs plus a little common sense conservation I have lowered my electric usage from 8kwh/day to 3kwh/day.

If home depot gave you the bulbs, why do you need the elementary schools to raise money by collecting cans and bottles?

That's easy. We didn't know they were going to donate the bulbs until two nights prior. Had we known that from the beginning we wouldn't have asked them to raise the money for that purpose. -kenny
